We are looking for a Legal Assistant with 2+ years Wills & Probate experience to join our Superannuation team at the Oakleigh office. This will be a 3 days part-time position.


    The Opportunity
    You will provide crucial administrative support by carrying out a range of secretarial tasks that will assist the functioning of one or more practice groups. You will be responsible for a range of legal support and administration accountabilities as assigned by your supervisors. These include but are not limited to:
    •    Opening new files, preparing letters and correspondence, drafting medical-legal letters of instruction, compiling briefs and court documents.
    •    File management - proactively liaising with the supervising solicitor and relevant parties to advance files.
    •    General administration and filing.
    •    Developing and maintaining billing systems.
    •    Monitoring critical dates to ensure deadlines are met.
    •    Diary management.
    •    Handling general client and stakeholder enquiries via telephone and face to face.

    The Legal Assistant position at Zaparas will be both challenging and rewarding. We are looking for someone who: 
    •    Is a self-motivated individual who can work efficiently.

    We are looking for a full-time TAC Lawyer to join our Bendigo office.  

     
    The Position
    As a TAC lawyer, you will be working autonomously in our Bendigo office with support from a Senior Legal Assistant and will be mentored by a senior lawyer. You will work on your own client portfolio with a mix of challenging and complex matters and be responsible for carrying out a variety of legal tasks and providing exceptional client service both face to face and via telephone.  As part of the position, you will be required to attend court and conferences on behalf of your clients. This position is suitable for someone who has had hands-on experience in personal injury law and is ready to take their career to the next level.

    Scanning / Administrative Clerk (Oakleigh Office)

    A great opportunity has arisen for a Scanning/Administrative Clerk to join our Oakleigh office. This role is negotiable to be on full time or part time basis, subject to the suitability of candidate.  

    Job tasks and responsibilities

    •    Provide legal team with assistance in scanning materials provided by the solicitors
    •    Allocate the scanned material onto the correct files in LawMaster
    •    File the scanned material into the appropriate document classification, both on the hardcopy and softcopy files as well as update the schedules on both files diligently .
    •    Coordinate, sort and distribute incoming mail 
    •    Carry out a variety of administrative tasks as directed
    •    Relief reception

    •    You have excellent communication skills and the ability to service customers in an efficient and friendly manner
    •    You have great attention to details and is able to complete tasks to a high standard
